Black River Public School has been the best decision my parents made for me. I got the help I needed, I needed help with my speech and writing because my old school did not help me. Teachers are nice and willing to help you and there if you need them to be. other than food this place is a good school to go to.

Black River is a special community. There are always people willing to help you with anything. They offer a variety of AP courses for students; however, the courses could be taught a little more rigorously as it is supposed to be a college prep school.

The best parts of black river public school is the opportunity of education you get from the academics. Black River is relatively a small school so teachers can individually help there students learn and grow through semesters. The worst part of black river is the food provided, it is a small school and due to this the school budget is very low meaning food quality and quantity is at the bare minimum.i would love to see the school get a larger budget to help the quality of the school experience.

They do offer after school support, and some resources, but disappointed that the school lacks diversity in student learning styles and levels. Also, disappointed in the principal...

I love that they focus on the child, not the group. They see each student as an individual and teach accordingly. They seem to truly care about the students as well.

I have children in both elementary and high school levels for this school, and although I would give the high school a high rating, I have not been overly impressed with the amount of general coldness toward parents at the elementary levels, nor the lack of supervision that I have witnessed several...

I have been incredibly pleased with Black River. My now 3rd grader has been at Black River since Kindergarten. There is so much communication between parents and teachers, and she is above grade level in every subject.
