My 4 years attending West Ottawa high school has been a rollercoaster. Moving to a city where i knew no one was the worst part, but west ottawa made it very welcoming. The best experience about it all was they never left me alone for the journey. The welcoming Ms. woods and Ms. cherry always gave me was the best of it. On days i was sad or couldn't get myself to class they'd always made sure to put me and my mental health first. They assured them self's that i knew my way around the two buildings. The worst part about my experience is the walking between the two buildings during the cold weather, but i'm sure everyone dislikes that. Besides the cold weather during the fall and spring it's beautiful, so i wouldn't consider it my worst experience. There's no bad experience when you're surrounded around good people and good energy's.

Overall, the experience at West Ottawa has been amazing. I am beyond blessed to be at a school that cares and puts effort in their students. The facility's, teacher, etc put students like me in a position to succeed in life. Which is all I could wish for from a high school.

It's a great school with a lot to offer. They do many things well, but there's always room for improvement.

Great communication, prompt responses and faculty makes sure parents are aware of any concerns that they'd otherwise be unaware of. Especially appreciate how they handled a recent threat at the school to keep students safe and parents updated.

Money for coffee bars and TV's and no money for custodians to keep the buildings clean. That is the logic of the administration there. Get rid of them it'd be better!

I would love to score it higher. I feel that the administration will work with you if you have a fire for your child. I think the teachers are working to help my children as best as they can. What lacks is having enough teachers to provide the classes that children want to take. I do not believe tha...

I wish that I could give this school a higher rating because the teaching staff is incredible and I really like the wide range of classes that the students can take. If not for the administration of West Ottawa High School, I would have given the school a higher rating. The administration shows more...
