Homer High School is a good school, I would definitely say that the math and science teachers genuinely want you succeed and will work with you a lot to make that happen, their all good funny people and have good rap with students. The welding and shop classes help kids who maybe don't want to go on to college have another option. I would say that they should allow you to pass with a D, you just go straight to failing I think its selfish and their just trying to bring up the schools Stats, not everyone is academically gifted and all they can get is a D and maybe they just want to going a trade, and its not super fair when their just trying to get their high school diploma.

Homer High school is a great school that offers students a great education. The small nature of the school limits the resources and diversity of classes they are able to provide. Overall I believe Homer high gave me a good education and adequately prepared me for life outside of school as well as well as college.

I wish there was more diversity at Homer High. It is difficult to culturally connect with other students. The only official club we have is a Christian club. It would be amazing if there were more ways to connect with the school other than through athletics or music programs, both of which we thrive in.

This school is not preparing students for college or gainful employment after graduation. The teachers spend too much time pumping up students egos and relying on youtube for actual lesson teaching. Homer does a great job of isolating parents. This school has not met reasonable expectations. My son struggles in school and he has not received the help from this school he deserves. He fails tests but the teachers won't get him extra help because he does well on homework assignments. He does well...
