It was a nice school to graduate from, but it could have used some work. There were plenty of things that they could have out money towards and they didn't. Also having a new principle every year wasn't a good thing.

I had cancer in 10th grade year so I missed a lot of days but the administrators were very helpful but my Biology teacher made it very hard to pass her class

I have enjoyed my time at Banks County Schools. I have met friends that have truly changed my life for the better. There are many pros to BCSS. The staff is incredible, I love all of my teachers and most of them truly care about preparing us for the future. With that being said, I do not feel as though I am prepared for college. The facilities at BCHS are not great with many unusable aspects such as bathrooms. The environment and school spirit can be good, but is not always. Although I have enjoyed my time, there needs to be some changes.

Parents are retaliated against if they question curriculum or ask for explanations. Employees are not required to be qualified for...

My son graduated from banks co high. He had some great teachers but the principle and school board along with the superintendent need to be replaced with people who care and treat all children the same. This goes for some of the coaches also. There is no team work taught.
