GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Homer High School is a fun spirited school with teachers who love them. The enrollment have went down and so has test scores but everything is a work in progress. I would like to see the community become more involved with the school like in the past but things take time.

My teachers at my school are the best they use everyday life things to help us with what it is we need to do. The go above and beyond to make sure that every student is getting what they need to do to graduate

I went to this fine institution for 32 years. That may seem like a long time but I just kept failing my classes. Finally with the help of the outstanding staff and my loving peers I successfully made it through Highschool with at 0.01 gpa. Would definitely go again if I could!!!
