Iolani provided me with an incredibly strong academic foundation, such aa learning the best ways to study and prioritize my time, that made college so much easier. As an athlete during my time there I was always encouraged by my coaches and provided amazing support and training opportunities that allowed me to walk on to a college team. Today, as an alum, I feel blessed to be able to serve on the Alumni Board and take part in all the growth and new ventures for the school.

Iolani provides a very academically rigorous environment which prioritizes the individual students' educational needs, with many counselors and teachers who are willing to provide learning resources or advice. The sense of community is a great basis for building connections, however, this in tandem with the competitive academics can make students feel behind or unfit. Additionally, the school has room for improvement regarding neurodivergent acceptance and awareness, and should find ways to make neurodivergent students more comfortable and supported in their unique learning experience.

Being a son of 'Iolani I would like to say I was spoiled because we were lucky to have not only great academics but a faculty who actually cared about your success. They provided me with the tools and guidance I needed to be a great student but even more so a better person. Even now as an alum and parent I see how fortunate I was to be able to have that opportunity and now I want it for my son. The whole 'Iolani community is built off of their love for one another and to want what is best for each other which is why I feel 'Iolani is so special.

It retains small classes, has an excellent faculty and adminstration and meets their vision and goals year after year plus their sports teams are often underated and a small student body, but end up winning island and state championships ever...

My daughter is involved in plays, the school newspaper, orchestra and is a national merit finalist. This school is providing an excellent education. Her teachers are there when she needs them (and when I need them). I couldn't have hoped for a finer setting for my child.

Iolani is the best school in Hawaii. My daughter is well-balanced, frugal, happy, engaged, worldly and well-educated. She has friends who are respectful and honest. Her teachers have always been there for her when she encounters something that is difficult for her. I am very pleased with her educati...
