What I like about Horicon High School is that since it isn't a big high school everyone knows everyone. You don't have to worry about not fitting in. Everyone is accepting at this school. What I would like to change is the change in updates to our school which is happening right now because of a referendum being passed this past year.

Going to a small school is beneficial as the class sizes are smaller and you are able to have more teacher to student contact. There are some down sides such as the lack of advanced class opportunities and a decreased amount of extra-curricular activities and athletics that are offered.

I liked the fact that we have awesome teachers and excellent faculty. We have a good football team now that we combined with Hustisford and we have excellent people working on everything at the school. I liked the fact that I was able to make so many different friends in so many different grades. I also like that our class sizes are so small that we can work with the teachers and we can get the help we need. I also like that we have a wide range of activities to do at our school and we have very interesting things to do. Just do not try to eat the food in the lunch line and the food does not taste good.

As a former student of this highschool, this school is completely inexperienced with properly handling students with special needs. While yes there are plenty of great teachers that help students. When it comes to your special education teachers they do fall behind there with neglectful special educ...

Sexist mascots, low motivational teachers leading to dropouts and class retakes. The current 4/10 rating appears to be adequate. I'm planning to move out of the area prior to my younger children entering middle school.

I have had my kids in the public schools in Horicon since 2002, and I have several years to go. No school is perfect, but some of the comments I can see on this site from years ago are unfair to the Horicon public schools. The #1 attribute I have found in Horicon schools is that the teachers, princi...
