It is a small school, but that is part of the charm. It is far enough away from jackson that it does not get the school of choice issues that other district endure. The food seems to be tolerable. But the bright spot of the school are the teachers.

The teachers are always willing to stay after school to help students, but other resources are lacking. The counselor is severely overworked.

Even though Hanover-Horton High School is a small school, it offers a lot of opportunities to each and every student. The teachers are caring and are always motivated to give every student the education they desire. Hanover-Horton is a bully-free zone, and contains clubs which are open to everyone to support the LGBT community.

I'm a current high school student and I transferred to this school in 6th grade. While I have been attending this school, I have experienced little to no help from the counseling department when seeking for help. Also, there is lots of bullying here and that is especially true for the younger grades...
