I thought it was quite a fine school, everyone there is kind and eager to help you out and the students are nice enough, maybe a couple of hicks, but they have great teachers, interesting courses, and it's got an overall pleasant vibe. It's not very diverse, but I really don't think diversity is what makes a school system good at doing it's job.

Houlton high school offers good academic programs which get students ready for college by offering dual enrollment courses to get college credit. the school offers a decent extracurricular program witha major emphesis on sports.

The worst years of my life were spent at this school. I went from an honor roll student to failing all my classes because I had a learning disability.
