GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

glad I was able to graduate despite the fights breaking out every day and I had good experience with my friends and staff

I would say the best thing about this school is the friends I made throughout my time there. On the worst part of going to Chavez High School is probably when admin and district leaders don't listen to students with their out rages rules and implementing things that could one day make kids want to give up on academics. Both sides have advantages and disadvantages but mostly there is a negative sense of moral in the schools environment due to the stricter rules that have been implemented will one day cause trouble with students and teachers going against the schools admin and district leaders.

I liked that the school had multiple clubs based on what you are interested in. It gives students opportunities to learn more. And you can meet new people who have the same interests as you.

The school overall doesn’t care about nothing but their ratings, so I took the time to write a rating of my own showing casing the type of school it really is. The teacher there never respects the students as living humans, but as pets or not intellectually there, they think that should listen to wh...

Everyday at this school is a pain, from being tardy and getting detention to writing paragraphs that aren't related to the reason why we're being late but the policies of the school and wasting time that I could've literally been in class but cut short by 20-30 mins just to write the paragraphs.
