GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think the school overall is a solid 8/10. It's an early college so I'm able to take HCC classes. The professors are typically nice and understanding. Some were strict, but it was good because it helped me manage my time better. There is no gym building. Students exercise on the field, but it isn't too bad. The coach does everything he can with providing for sports. It's a nice school. Very small so you'll basically know everyone.

While it isn't the biggest school in size with around 440 students enrolled through all grade levels, the small size is a bit of an advantage here. It is not that hard to communicate between grade levels and I can communicate with other people fairly easily in order to get stuff done. Not only that, but there's rarely any confrontation around here and the students get along with the teachers easily.

Overall I have had a pleasant experience at this school. It's filled with very lively students and a whole host of great college preparation opportunities.

My children attend East Early College and are on track to receive an associate degree in science before they graduate from high school. Thi...
