GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I enjoyed taking the dual enrollment classes and most of the teachers I had were helpful, but it was a somewhat unsafe school and many of the students really don't care about learning.

My experience at Northbrook High School has a roller coaster. When I first started out I thought that I would eventually get around to liking my school but that time never came. I think this is because I do not like both the students and some of the staff. The regulations here try to be reasonable but end up not following through with any of the students who attend the Northbrook.

It was more harder to graduate here than in college back when I took it. You have to look for resources and apply for college yourself

This school is above average without a doubt. The teachers are awesome by being encouraging and knowledgable in their respective subjects. There are AP courses and plenty of extracurricular activities offered. The only thing missing when I attended were the academic and athletic freaks that you see...
