I join Northbrook my junior year of high school. It was a new experience for me and I was hopeful for a fresh start. Going to Northbrook help me find extra curlers that suited me and I was able to make friend. I had very helpful teachers that understood me to help me when needed, so my overall experience there was a pretty decent time for high school.

I enjoyed taking the dual enrollment classes and most of the teachers I had were helpful, but it was a somewhat unsafe school and many of the students really don't care about learning.

It was more harder to graduate here than in college back when I took it. You have to look for resources and apply for college yourself

This school is full of gangs is not a great school.my son was attending northbrook but the the gangs kept harassing him

This school is above average without a doubt. The teachers are awesome by being encouraging and knowledgable in their respective subjects. There are AP courses and plenty of extracurricular activities offered. The only thing missing when I attended were the academic and athletic freaks that you see...
