Both boys started at St. Nicholas School (SNS) when they were both 6-months old with my oldest completing Kindergarten at an early 2nd grader level with language, math and reading. The Montessori approach and academic program are great, but the heart of the school are the teachers and staff. I am able to go to work and know my kids are well cared for, learning and aspiring to their potential. Best takeaway from SNS is that your child will always be curious to learn and know more which is important at any age.

My kids have been attending this school from infant to primary and they love it. The teachers are great and the program very interesting and advanced. At 3 my old one was already able to read long words and still enjoys reading and writing ;-)

Our children have been at this school for about 4 years. Our daughter just completed kindergarten. Initially she hated math. By the end of the year she scored in the 99th percentile on the Iowa test in both math and reading! Bernadette, the kindergarten teacher, really helped our daughter unlock the...

St. Nicholas is not a school for children with learning differences. Look elsewhere for a more holistic approach to learning.

The school has the best teachers - their curriculum even for an 18 month old is very good. the teachers are very loving. The best part is that the school was very keep on helping us with cloth diapring our boy. They also have a great food programs. The only issue is that they need uniforms and shoes...
