GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Tri County High School Allowed me with a lot of opportunities (if you know how to take advantage of them) but lacks a higher education and often doesn't have higher test scores when compared to other schools.

What I like about Tri County is the music program. I've participated in it for all four years of my high school experience, and we've received numerous awards from going to multiple state competitions and performances. Something that I'm not to fond of at my school is the lack of AP classes. Last year was the first year that we were offered an AP class (which I took). There are definitely a lot of smart people at my school, but not enough opportunities on campus for them.

Things I liked about Tri County High School: it's a school of about 800-900 students, so it's fairly decent sized (not too big or too small). We don't have many safety issues involving students, but we do practice the mandatory safety drills. I wish we had more athletics and academics.

Tri county is not equipped to adequately interact with or teach a student with special needs. If you have a learning disability or need any special accommodation's related to your disability, Tri County would not be the school of choice

We raised two daughters from pre-school to senior year. They were involved from start to finish years as well as we were volunteer parents and cheer parents for everything they did. Teachers, staff and TC Families have alwYs supported the youth and our girls have life long friends. Off to college bo...
