GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Throughout my years at fivay high school I've had a lot of good and bad experiences. However most of my bad experiences were caused by the terrible teachers they hired (specifically for geometry and only one history teacher) and not to mention the ridiculous amount of work they handed us our sophomore year. The biggest thing that makes me mad is how terrible communication is at the school I was never told about the PERT test at all and by the time I found out about in near the end of my junior year I applied to take it to get into my intro to law enforcement and my criminology class. But the day of the test I was not listed on the roster and when I asked why I was told to go to the media center and talk to the lady in charge of the roster and I did and I was in the media center for almost a whole hour before some dude told me my gpa wasn't high enough. That really upset me because now I have to pay for criminology in college. This could have been prevented if I was told sooner.

Fivay has great programs and its really great with the people in it. The teachers are okay but some are really strict and dont really teach.

My 4 years experience at Fivay had it's ups and downs. My Freshman year we had a new principal that had come to turn the school around since there was a lot of fightingand issues. Just as he was getting everyone on the same page Covid hit and we home schooled the rest of the year. Once we were able to return the last 3 years have just flown by. Now, as my senior year draws to an end I am thankful for all my teachers, coaches, and staff who have supported me to get me here. I will miss my friends as we all embark on the next chapter. Fivay staff, especially Mrs. Ball our class of 2023 Assistant Principal, have made these last 4 years something to remember. She pushed all her students to achieve excellence. Her support meant the world.

Horrible school. As a student here I feel that the teachers do not listen to us, and the students are incredibly disrespectful. For those students who are constantly in trouble and in fights, the administration seems to do nothing about it and is even "friends" with them. They have no control of the...

This is the worst school in Pasco. A rating if 4 is misleading. The campus is overcrowded and it is like a prison. On Friday there were 8 cop cars, K9 units and the student were on a controlled campus. The students are out of control.
