My overall experience has gotten better over the years. They have worked to improved in the area of diversity as much as they can. Unfortunately as we know it all starts at home so there is only so much they can do.

LNC has a great school culture and school spirit. The students are smart and kind and you should be able to find someone in your friend group. The best thing about the school is the teachers, who are great, minus one or two of them. I don't do much sports, but the teams are good, but I wouldn't say they're the best. Carpool takes time, and they don't serve lunch themselves (you have to pre-order from other restaurants at high prices). The academics are good though, and there are numerous science classes. Some sections could use more funding, but there are many inclusive clubs in the school. They prepare you well for college, and you know that you are always safe and secure in the school.

I have found that Lake Norman Charter has been an excellent school for college readiness, as it prepares all of its students for rigorous college workloads through similarly difficult courses. LNC is a great school with teachers who want to see their students succeed, and the only large issues with the school is the somewhat limited amount of courses available due to the small size of the school

The school's overall curriculum is lacking. There is no formal science or language arts curriculum. I showed a family member who taught math and science at a Title I school the science lessons and they were appalled. I have two sons who attended Lake Norman Charter School. Our overall experience at LNC was excellent. Wonderful administrators who truly care about the success of the students. Great teachers. LNC prepared my sons to excel at college.
