Established in 1963, Marina High is a public school in the Huntington Beach Union High School District. Located at 15871 Springdale St., in Huntington Beach, the school enrolls approximately 2,300 students and serves ninth through 12th grade. Home of the Vikings, Marina High is a California Distinguished School Recipient and offers an extensive core curriculum featuring classes in education, English, math, social science, science and world languages. Overall, Marina is a pretty good school in the area. Many students I've met are academically driven or passionate about their interest in sports, the arts, etc. It's a place to grow your passions with the assistance of helpful teachers.

There have been ups and downs like every other highschool experience. However, I have heard good things from other schools that are not present at Marina. One of such is homecoming. The school is very cheap and charges $60 to attend the gym. Very tacky.

Normal high school experience, focus though felt like it was especially on other kids like the football kids. Could do better if they focused more on the winning sports and empowering them then worrying about other things.
