Established in 1963, Marina High is a public school in the Huntington Beach Union High School District. Located at 15871 Springdale St., in Huntington Beach, the school enrolls approximately 2,300 students and serves ninth through 12th grade. Home of the Vikings, Marina High is a California Distinguished School Recipient and offers an extensive core curriculum featuring classes in education, English, math, social science, science and world languages. The school also has a Visual Arts and performing academy and an art program for students who are taught the history of art and its unique place in our world. Overall, Marina is a pretty good school in the area. Many students I've met are academically driven or passionate about their interest in sports, the arts, etc. It's a place to grow your passions with the assistance of helpful teachers.

Marina had a great back to school night with many clubs and activities represented with good information for parents and students.

I really enjoyed my time at Marina. I participated in multiple sports and and both AP and CP classes. Overall, I had multiple teachers I didn't love, due to unfairness in terms of forgiveness for missed classes. The facilities are nice, and classrooms are clean and well kept up. Staff does a good job and keep the school safe. The school spirit is great. Our ASB teacher was one of the most spirited people I've ever met.
