I have had a positive experience at Walt Whitman High School. The teachers are very helpful and genuinely care about their students and want them to succeed. The best part of attending this school is the culture and how it really has a sense of community. There are many school events to be a part of and exposes you to different people and cultures.

Moving to the South Huntington School District in 2018 and having my son attend Walt Whitman High School was the best decision I have ever made. I could not be more pleased with the experiences my son had from this beautifully diverse school which is full of wonderful traditions that bring the entire community together throughout the year. The school is very academically challenging and the students are exposed to a rigorous education led by caring and motivating teachers that will prepare them to be successful in their post-secondary journeys.
