Huntingtown High School is the leading high school in Southern Maryland. Great academics and athletics.

Huntingtown High School offers fairly equal opportunities to students/families and caters to the needs of families of all backgrounds. Students have the ability to create and maintain student leadership roles, clubs and organizations. Funds, like most schools, are not distributed fairly.

We were very disappointed with this schools inability to provide individualized attention to students. There are simply too many students, not enough teachers to go around. This is a GREAT school. The staff is very supportive and there are TONS of extra supports in place to help students succeed. Activities abound, and there is no reason not to be involved.

All three of my children graduated from HHS. Good education and each was well prepared for college . The staff and teachers very attentive to students needs.
