Personally, choosing to attend New Century was one of the best choices I ever made. At the end of my 8th-grade year, I had a choice to make of which high school to attend. My choices were Huntsville High School, New Century, or the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (ASCTE). I was not accepted into ASCTE, so I ended up with what I, at the time, believed to be my second-best option. However, looking back Huntsville High School isn't focused on academics enough for me, ASCTE is focused on them too much, but New Century was just right. I have loved almost every day I've attended and am so thankful I was rejected from ASCTE.

I had and still is having an amazing experience at NCT. It offer me an opportunity to experience advance level classes and teacher that are available to help at anytime.Everyone have a safe place or teacher that they can go to when they need help, and that helps us a lot as student to feel heard.

New Century Technology High School has prepared me so much for my future by providing resources, understanding, and teaching to ensure I understood how to be college and career ready. I have loved being involved here at NCTHS and would recommend this school to anyone wanting to advance in our strands. However, an improvement could be adding new strands for more variety such as research, specific biology, and business.

I have 2 children at this school. The academics are phenomenal. The only reason I don't give this 4 stars is I think there needs to be more physical fitness opportunities for the students outside of gym class freshman year. Physical fitness is every bit as important as academics. Afterschool sports...
