GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Huntsville High School has excellent teachers and terrific counselors. The school always feels dirty and it just never feels or looks clean. The other students like to trash the bathrooms and write crude things on the bathroom walls. There are at least two student fights each month and that's not an exaggeration.

The community is welcoming if you have found yourself there for some time, however the beginning is challenging as any other high school. The management of the school could overall improve, yet the opportunities and organizations in this school beat others.

I like that the community is very supportive of its students and goes out of their way to provide service opportunities and preparation for college. It also has wonderful people who are encouraging and ready to help.

We moved here a few years back and our kids went to highschool here with no issues. Lots of parent support and great faculty.

This school is failing at every level. Someone needs to step in a revamp this whole system. The educators here have lost their moral and care. Students are out of control in the most literal way. Principles and Councilors don’t have time to care to help. DO SOMETHING!!! You are failing the students...

Fantastic experience. All students are important. Nice small town feel with lots of course offerings usually found in larger systems.
