Northwestern has a lot of negatives, but there are some positives of it. The school felt very unsafe, but as of recently, it hasn't been so bad. The administration is not the best either. There are some wonderful teachers though, which makes the experience better.

What I liked about the school was the attempt to drive the students to better education, but what could change is the lack of control over the violence that boils over from the students getting into fights and bringing contraband into the school undetected.

My whole 4 years at northwestern HS was awesome. The staffs there are friendly and they are always willing to help the students. Northwestern HS has the best academic records and I have learnt a lot on school based and around the community. As a northwestern student I can say that i am proud of being a wildcat member because wildcat will also be my home of hope and success. Success begins at school.

The school is ran terribly. Theres fights everyday with students skipping and roaming the hallways everyday. There's students here who are talented but aren't able to demonstrate it in this school. I would recommend this school for the Visual and Performing Arts Program. The teachers care about the students and work very hard to create a professional arts experience for them. The top students from this program are attending and graduating from top school in the country with good scholarships....

The school is badly run, from the top down. The principal sets the tone with an authoritarian culture. Systemic problems are not addressed.
