GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Idaho falls high school is a decent enough school for anyone who is Mormon and linked to the church. If you're not in that group or connected through sports (which you just excel in to be included) I wish you luck. I have somewhat enjoyed my experience at Idaho Falls High School because it sports and club involvement. I would like to see students become more open to diversity.

My high school experience was pretty average. I think most high schools could work on helping students become more prepared for their future instead of throwing information at them in a way that might not always help the student be successful. Everyone learns differently and sometimes it feels like the system works against them because they don't learn in the typical way. I also think that it would be helpful for students to start looking towards their future before senior year. sometimes it takes longer for people to figure out what they want to do and if they are able to explore in high school it takes some of the stress of picking a major off of them after the graduate.

I had a great experience at Idaho Falls High School. I was a member of the marching band for 3 years and it was great going out and competing with other schools. I never had a bad experience there. Regardless of what some students thought the teachers are actually really good, and I loved them all. Even if they were a little rude sometimes. I also was able to transfer credits from there because I took a class from CSI while I was attending and that went off without a hitch. My teacher was amazing it didn't even feel like a college class because she did it so well. Daily quizzes to keep us on our toes and daily assignments to keep us going. I passed Math 143/144 with an A because of her.
