My experience at Windsor High School was both the best and the worst. I loved the friends I had made there, and a lot of the teachers were kind. One problem I had was that the classes weren't very difficult, except for one (pre calculus) that was utterly impossible. I went from never getting an A- my first three years of high school to having a D. There were a lot of problems with bullying in my high school, which is the thing I would like to see changed more than anything. I lost a close friend from suicide because of bullying at school, and I hope eventually people see bullying and harassment as the large deal it is.

This school is really about its programs. If you want to focus on academics or music, then this is the one for you. I think right now, they probably have the most exceptional music program in Jefferson County as their band has been getting even better and are getting more successful in competitions. Unfortunately Windsor is not that great when it comes to athletics, but their Fine Arts is just wonderful.

I like the curriculum but the teachers and diversity could be better. The food is ok however the bathrooms are not good. The toilets are always broken and the sinks are wrecked.

Unless you were popular, or a sportsperson you generally were ignored or put on the back burner. Additi...

Windsor middle school and High School are the worst!!! Endless bullying, drug usage, fighting, poor teacher involvement. If you care about your childs education and future DO NOT send them to Windsor Middle or High School. Addressed bullying NUMEROUS times with these schools and the concerns fell on...
