Henry E. Lackey is a cool school. It offers many academic opportunities as well as supports students in any way.

I've been attending Henry E. Lackey High School for the past three years and am currently on track to graduate with a GPA above 3.7 as an AP Scholar. The school offers decent AP courses, and some teachers go beyond to help their students. However, it's overshadowed by the lack of safety and the poor quality of teachers. Fights are not uncommon and are often encouraged by students, teachers also act unprofessionally.

Honestly when I first transferred here, I didn't think it would go well at all. I never thought I would've found a group of friends. But I ended up being the happiest I've ever been, I found a amazing group of people at this school, people I'll never forget and will be life long friends, from the sports to the people it truly is something I wouldn't change for the world.

Lackey, the "School on top of the Hill", is a hidden gem in Charles County on the western side. The school is very secluded surrounded by lush forest and protected land. Due to it's seclusion and rural location, the staff and students are able to create meaning relationships in a nurturing and flour...

Great for our son high school experience we moved from Montgomery county but the school system in charles county is truly so helpful to our kids
