My four years of High school were crucial to my Devlopment. Although Lackey High School connected me to some lifelong friends, they fell short in preparing me for my future. The safety, academics, and environment of the school could be improved.

My experience at lackey was very eye opening and it prepared me for the world. This school taught me how to choose friendships , how to focus on what's more important for me and it also taught me how to make sure I do what's best for me. During my years at lackey I grew a love for all the staff. Every student had at least 1-2 staff members they could talk to about literally anything. The teachers really did care about their students and made sure they always felt like they had someone to talk too. I also made some great friends at Lackey it's so weird how a lot people from many different places ended up at Lackey but that's what made us so diverse. One of my favorite moments at lackey was when I did the morning announcements being able to bring people joy in the morning and giving them info about what's going in our school made me happy. It was so fun walking around the halls and everyone would tell me good job on the announcements and ask me questions.

Henry E. Lackey is a student-first high school. The Teachers, Coaches, Counselors and Principals are vested in the students doing their best everyday and making a difference as a student.

Lackey, the "School on top of the Hill", is a hidden gem in Charles County on the western side. The school is very secluded surrounded by lush forest and protected land. Due to it's seclusion and rural location, the staff and students are able to create meaning relationships in a nurturing and flour...

Great for our son high school experience we moved from Montgomery county but the school system in charles county is truly so helpful to our kids
