Chapel Glen Elementary serves over 800 kindergarten through sixth grade students on the West Side of Indianapolis between 10th Street and Rockville Road. The black and while "All-stars" work to exceed academic standards, pursuing "excellence, self-discipline, positive self-worth, and lifelong learning."
Chapel Glen Elementary was first established in 1972 as an open concept school. Later renovations added additional classrooms and walls. Today, Chapel Glen includes a cafeteria, media center, group meeting areas, gymnasium and art and music rooms.
Chapel Glen Elementary School has won the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. District Contest, Perfect Attendance recognition, District Teacher of the Year and the Presidential Academic Fitness award. Focused on building literacy and problem-solving skills, Chapel Glen students have been included on the Honor Roll as well.
Enriching their wellbeing with extracurriculars, students may join the 6th Grade Student Council, Notable Allstar Choir, Science Club, Recorder Ensemble Club and the Battle of the Books Competition. Chapel Glen Elementary also partners with the YMCA After School Care Program to offer students social support and activities outside the classroom.
At Chapel Glen Elementary, students lay a firm foundation for their middle school careers, celebrating a love for self-discovery and a commitment to scholastic achievement.

no just no... I found a cockroach and other bugs. the teachers get mad at kids kids to the point they cuss. most teachers show racism and favoritism along with getting mad at kids because the teachers did something. the rules seem to not apply to all kids.
