Inglewood is honestly a good school when compared to all the other schools in the area. The teachers are nice and some of them are really genuine when it comes to teaching. The reason why people give this school such a bad name is just because of students that don't like one teacher. Most of the kids are friendly and are nice once you get to know them. The food is good and in general it is very good when compared to other middle schools.

some teachers are completely terrible and don't even teach much in a class. sometimes there are subs that come in and can't speak english therefore cannot teach a class. we are then given large projects that are due at the end of the week and we are given no time to actually work on projects but then we get a low grade because it is "sloppy" people in IMS can pretty much get away with doing anything because there is no supervision in the hallways or by the bathrooms.

Some teachers are awful, some classes are extermely unstructured. Some teachers are hardly here, and get replaced with subs that dont even speak english. After this, they throw 2 or 3 huge packets at you, without telling you what to do. Bleh school spirit is extremely strong, but few kids are smart enough to flush marijuana down toilets.

The school is overcrowded, overwhelmed, and poorly managed. My child has attended this school since 6th grade, and there was virtually no support or program to help new students transition. Most teachers begin their syllabi with strict warnings about penalties and grade consequences for not following...

I went to Inglewood Middle School for all 3 years. It is an EXCELLENT school! Not only is academic performance high, I think it is ACTUALLY a good school (many supposedly "good" schools really have a bunch of rich people which inflate the ratings). The teachers are probably the best of any middle sc...
