Cistercian is a wonderful place with a challenging curriculum for boys. The students are using math and science text books for older grades, both my middle school sons prefer this environment than go back to their prior schools. There are no more than 50 boys per grade and classes are divided into two sections for teaching instructions. Best of all, the students are taught to advocate for themselves rather than involve their parents.

The best part of Cistercian, as so many others say, is the chance for personal growth in a small, very supporting community. After my time here for the last 8 years, I can safely say that all the teachers really do care about your success as a student.

Cistercian has provided our son a magical learning experience where he is challenged, encouraged, inspired and formed into an incredible young man. It is one of the most academically rigorous schools in Texas, and it is exactly what we were seeking for our son. But it is so much more than that, it is a place where he can grow in athletics, learn to be a kind gentleman and a place that encourages him to serve the world. You would be blessed to send your son here.
