Very strong academic school. The art, chorus and mock trial program are top notch programs in the state. SAT and AP scores are very impressive. Athletics are improving. My children had a very positive experience.

They need to take away the dress code because it is stupid and takes away all of our individuality and character. Obviously no one is going to wear things like booty shorts to school, it's stupid that we can't just wear regular clothes.

Island School has a horrible environment. The teachers aren’t certified to be teaching and can’t provide the tools to help students succeed. This school not only didn’t provide what advertises, but it never provided a healthy and safe environment for my student, the amount of bullying and miss treat...

My daughter, with a learning disability, attends this school, and my son is advanced academically. Both students have had a great learning experience here. They are great with students who learn differently as well as finds ways to challenge those that excel.

The kids are okay. The teachers are fine. It's just that the school is boring. There is no physical contact, and you could get in big trouble if you are caught lightly pushing somebody. The uniforms are 15 bucks each and you can get fined if you get caught not wearing the school uniform a number of...

Very good school but the demographic is very lopsided and there’s a lot of homophobia in the school.
