During my time at Issaquah High School has been eventful, from sports to academics. Overall, Issaquah High School offers a great way to be prepared for college. Issaquah is a school to go to for academics and nothing else, the sports are bad and the extra curricular activates are slow. Although i have to give our Cross Country running team some recognition for being one of the best in the state. But if you want to be academically challenged, Issaquah offers a massive in depth range of what you want to do/accomplish.

I think that it is a great school to be apart of, however the issue lays in with the school administration not being able to handle a lot of the students. Each individual student needs a lot of attention, yet there are staff shortages everywhere in all the departments, causing overcrowding in classes.

It's a very large school, but even then it's still overcapacity by quite a margin. The course work is rigorous and will prepare you for college if you put effort into it to actually learn it though. That is one of the main points that makes this school stand out amongst others in the district.

In my opinion, Issaquah high school is great. My sister attended that school. The reasons are:1. Average SAT score is around 1230. It's easy to achieve that score, but difficult for a whole school. It verifies that most students in this school focus on studying.2. The teachers are responsive. I sent...

If you are looking at high schools in the Issaquah School District, I would stay away from IHS. This year, the teachers are being asked to align their grading policies so that standards are even across all district high schools. Well, they are MAD and openly taking it out on students and parents. Te...

They built this school by a gun range. You can hear gun shots all day long. What happens if there is shooting in the school? The school is built right next to the middle school and an elementary school up the street. The traffic before and after school is horrific. Bad planning at best. There are ma...
