J. Sterling Morton East High School is a public school that serves nearly 3,500 students in 10th through 12th grade. In addition to core classes needed to graduate, Morton East High School has classes that focus on fine arts, career and technical education. I was afraid at first but those 4 years went by pretty quickly, I enjoyed my bad and good days being in high school, some classes complicated me but teachers were willing to help me understand whatever I was struggling with. The only thing I would want them to change is their safety considering students can get into fights for no reason in a busy hallway and end up even hurting teachers and security which is who I worry more for than the students.

My experience at Morton East High School was full of highs and lows. There were good moments like the teachers and how most of them would care ad actually want their students to learn and understand but there were some that did not seem to care.

Attending Morton East has been very beneficial to me. I feel like the academics and teachers here really prepared me to continue my education after High School. Also I have always felt like there is an endless amount of recourses available to me and people to help me when it comes to life outside of school which really helped me when it came to applying for colleges.

I'm a former student Class of 72. Til this day my classmates get together a couple times a year for dinner and talk about growing up in Cicero. A few teacher's also join us. Many great times at Morton.

This is a legitimate school. Offers what it can and is enough four our community. We may seem like trash to other people and schools but we at least work hard, I guess your snotty college preps don't teach you the value of honest and true hard work and desire to push ahead. I love being a mustang!
