GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love it at Jackpot High School. The teachers are smart and help in anyway they can. Students are very helpful and do not discriminate. People participate a lot in sports especially basketball and everyone in the community at one point or another come out to see and support the teams . The teachers always try there hardest to help the students understand the subject and offer to help anyone at practically anytime. If a student is struggling the teachers will sit down with them and work with them at there own pace until they fully grasp the concept. Students even help other students in their free time just to help the other student be successful.

The school is very clean. Nice teachers who try to help us learn what we need to know. The school can bring back Home Economics classes to teach kids how to cook and take care of themselves. Another class would be good for this school is Car repair. Maybe a foreign language class would work too. Since we are such a small town many people speak a different language. It would help students to learn a different language especially if the student learns it in Elementary school.

Jackpot High is a great small school with a friendly community. There is about 5 to 20 students in each class, which gives you a great opportunity to have one on one time with your teachers. The only disadvantage is there is not a lot of opportunities like other schools have.
