The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like Jackson High School but of course it's not perfect but we strive everyday to help make it more incredible and enjoyable for others.

I would say the best part of our school is its safe and healthy environment. Nowadays, I think it is very important for a school to ensure its students and employees safety and I believe that Jackson High Schoo do not dissapoint when it comes to making sure that everyone could feel safe every time we come into school. However, I would not deny that Jackson High School has its own con. As a result of lack in funds, JHS facilities has limited access to modern technology and resources which hinders students' learning.

I've had a fairly normal high school experience here. Nothings especially good about Jackson High, but nothings especially bad either. Only bad experience I've had is with some unreasonable admin and counselors making things more difficult, but other than that, it's an okay school.

Incredible waste of time and taxpayer funds.

Very bad. No homework sent home ever. Counselors are hard to reach and when you do, you’re told ten different things. They don’t even know the proper entrance exams (SAT/ACT) accepted by the Colleges our son wants to attend. Told us the wrong information. Does not help the students prepare for SAT/A...

This school has given my daughter plenty of opportunity. She is in dual enrollment and is only in the 10th grade. I am grateful for the teachers and the countless at Jackson High.
