I really loved my time as a student at JMHS. The buildings and programs could do with an update, but the teachers always did their best to help us learn and grow at our own pace.

The best part of my high school experience is learning with my friends and baseball teammates. The worst experience if having to experience the combining of high schools and now we are grossly overcrowded in school and the high school location is way overpopulated.

Jackson Memorial is a good public high school and I think their academic & arts programs are what benefits students the most. The students and teachers are friendly and will offer to help you often and their counseling is pretty nice as well.

I worked there as child study team school social worker in almost every school in the district and after 24 years they forced me to resign... reason was a half day off unapproved due to serious menopausal symptoms and then they forced an administrative leave with no pay for months. I hated completing a long term sub position at JMHS. The teachers did not send me their lesson plans or accommodations for classified students. They had a poor attitude towards substitute teachers. The administrators only cared about athletics.
