I've been here since JA (kindergarten), and while the school wasn't and isn't perfect, I've definitely found a home here. I've met some amazing people and I don't regret coming to this school. However, there are definitely issues. The administration is not the greatest, and a few teachers are definitely not very great. I personally have had amazing or at the very least decent teachers, but some of my friends have had horrible experiences with teachers. Overall though, I've had a wonderful time.

I am a current sophomore but have been going here since kindergarten. I love it, everyone is super nice and the education is hard but good. It is nice to have friends around the world and learn about every culture.

UNIS is a very special place, with a strong focus on educating the whole child. We have 2 children at the Junior School and have continuously been impressed with the quality of the teachers and the support they have in place to help children learn and grow. The community is wonderful, truly including the best parts of NYC and the world with people from a wide variety of cultures and countries. We feel very fortunate to be a part of this school and community.

I would rate UNIS Queens as many stars as allowed. It was the best decision we could have made for our children's elementary and middle school education. UNIS Queens provides a first rate education in a supportive environment. Our children will be well prepared for high school and beyond.

After spending all our school years at UNIS, we didn't realize how great it was until we started touring high schools. When we asked the hs student about their current studies, the majority of the projects (especially Science, English and Humanities) were covered by UNIS in middle school. UNIS also...

My daughter went all 9 years and loved it. As a parent, I also loved it. We had incredible access to the teachers and administrators and felt that they all supported our family.
