As a vital steppingstone in Jasper County residents’ educational journey, Jasper County Middle School stands ready to put children’s education first with a rigorous but engaging curriculum and options to grow mentally and physically. The school sits on a quiet street near Pope Country Club. In small classes of about 15, pupils at Jasper County Middle are closely monitored and strongly encouraged by their teachers. Smaller classes also make it easier for students to form lifelong friendships. In addition to their standardized educational courses, this public school provides special education services to eligible students. The Jasper County Charter System pledges to provide appropriate facilities and support for students with disabilities from ages 3 to 22. Jasper County Middle hosts many extracurricular activities, including a technology fair and science Olympiad. Athletic students can join the Hurricanes sports teams for competitive baseball, cross-country track, football, basketball and wrestling. Band, Future Business Leaders of America and the Beta Club round out the school’s extensive options.

Having had children in schools all over (military family), this is by far the worst experience ever. Grades dropped from A's to D's, students are disrespectful, staff is even worse, administration and teachers do not care. Asking for help or guidance gets you nowhere. This school is horrible. My son was bullied and when reporting to teachers he was told to sit down. I reported to principal who promised to do something, next day he was threatened again, he went to the teacher who told him to shut up and sit down. I have since moved him to private school.
