GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I was one of the book smart students at the school and the teachers were not really helpful to me, they were more concerned about the athletes of the school.

I wouldn't choose this school again because the decisions made are terrible. Often, instead of spending money on things to help academics or smaller clubs, all funding goes to sports. We finally got a new principal who is the best thing that happened to this school, though.

Some teachers are fantastic and truly seem to care about whether or not they're being understood, but some teachers just want to get the class over with so they can browse the Internet for the rest of the period.
