GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Jemison High School is a great school. I enjoy the teachers and all the hard work they do. What I would change is an upgrade to the school building.

I like how Jemison High School treats everyone fairly. I would love to see the school get bigger. The halls everyday are always cramped.

As an alum of Jemison High Class of 2016, my High School experience was very average. On the academic side of things it was fairly decent as there were actually good teachers but at times didn't do enough to prepare us for college. Socially there was plenty to do sports or clubs you name it, but one thing we could all agree on was the school's resources weren't the best the school was built in the 60s so its right around the time for a new one. There were ups and downs but at the end of the day it would be alright

The average student without connections is treated as if they don't matter. If accused of any infraction they are guilty with o...
