As of right now, I serve as a Jena High School senior and I absolutely love it here. There are only a few things I wish to see change in the next couple of years. One being the state law which bans phones in schools. Personally, I so not want to send my future child to school without a phone on them in case of emergencies. This is more of a state issue, not the school, but it serves the same purpose.

Jena High school has offered a great source of education and has chosen the best teachers to help us learn and grow. They care about our futures just as much as we do, and they hope to see us achieve the goals in our lives. By this, they prepare us for the next step in life. Each student has found a way to play a roll in the school and be involved. Us athletes receive all of the support from the students, teachers, and parents, helping us keep good spirit and excitement with the things we do. A life time of memories has been made at Jena High School for us to pass down and spread the word.

Jena High School is a great place to prepare you for the real world. In my four years of attending this high school, we have faced two deaths. Initially, we believed it would tear down the schools' spirit. Instead, the staff and students used it as a drive to live for them, and enjoy the moment. This year, our football team is ranked number 1 in the 3A category. JHS is my home, and I am excited to be a proud Alumni.
