All of the teachers are kind and make it obvious that they care about you and want you to succeed. They help me become more motivated for school because of their constructive critiques and positive feedback.

The faculty and concept were fantastic, and I think this school has the potential to be groundbreaking. However, the online format for high school education is not ideal for any type of student (minus a few rare exceptions). This school left me feeling unprepared for the outside world, leaving me to figure it all out on my own.

There really aren't opportunities for any kind of extracurricular activity unless you live in the immediate vicinity of its home base

JIA has been a great experience for my kids. The staff is outstanding and even though the classes are online you feel connected and supported like a traditional school. JIA provides flexibility with great academics at the same time.
