Over the course of my years at Jonesport-Beals High School, all of these things happened. - Machias went to the bathroom all over our girls' locker room because we beat them in basketball - mushrooms grew in the boys' shower - multiple fights - drug dog visit - lots of student screaming - a boy in my class mooned all of us frequently this is not a good school.

I like that Jonesport-Beals High School is such a small, close-knit school. The teachers always make time to sit down and help if you need it. One thing that I would like to see change is how involved some teachers are. Some of the teachers are great, but others are never in the room when you need help.

We don't have very many clubs (save for the Edge volunteer program and NHS), and the school is centered greatly around basketball. There are many disadvantages to being in a school of less than 70 students.
