Block High doesn't prepare you for college at all. Academics are severely behind and a lot of teachers don't bother to teach. I learned the bare minimum at block high school and I am worried about how Blocks poor academics will affect me in college.

My high school is a very poor. We don't have many certified teachers and our classes over filled. We recently had to protest just for books. They don't want use to learn anything and our buildings are infested. We had to close one building because the floor almost collapsed. During the protest we have accomplished little to nothing but we have started to reelect school board members and hopefully see a change soon.
