Kahuku High and Intermediate School is located on the North Shore side of the Oahu island. Students are accompanied by the strong winds from the ocean and bright rays of the island sun. It's a small, yet tight knit community that makes up the students, faculty and staff. Everyone is kind, inclusive and outgoing while also sharing the aloha spirit to all.

This school is surrounded with so much support from members in the community and has such a strong school pride.

My experience at kahuku has been amazing. The teachers have really helped me to grow and learn. Being able to participate in basketball, tennis, band, choir, science club, history matters club, NHS, and more have really made my experience so stretching and formed into into who I am today.

Some teachers are terrific! It's a shame to see them stuck in this setting. One wonders how they feel about the actions of their less-motivated colleagues.

We're a new family at KHIS from the Sunset Neighborhood on the North Shore and we have been so pleased with the school thus far! The principal Donna Lindsey has been so welcoming and down-to-earth.
