this schools principal and staff do NOT know how to attend children's needs and mental and social health. they refuse to help a child be sucsessfull in learning. I heard plenty of good and bad about this school but what I have experienced this is a horible school to attend which has no boundaries and respect for students and parents. do NOT make your child go here especially if they need hands on learning, 504 plan, mental struggles, ect. this school will only make things worse for you and your family

At Flathead High School, I loved going here, I loved my teachers and my classes that I had. I felt safe my whole time, just really enjoyed it!

Highschool has been pretty good. I liked a lot of my teachers, not everything has been perfect, but i can't expect perfect. It's been slightly difficult for me to make friends but that's probably just me. I have had many good memories at fhs and would definitely recommend it to any kid who is indecisive on schools. Best parts had to be the football games and school spirit stuff even if the football team had been sucky.

This 3/10 score is highly misleading, as it fails to account for the fact that Flathead has an excellent IB (not AP) program, along with outstanding theatre, music, art, science, ag ed, and trades programs. Every single year at this school there is a teacher in each grade that enjoys covertly (they think no one notices or that they won't get into trouble for what they are doing) bullying kids and using power play tactics. FHS has very engaging teachers - both among IB and non-IB classes. Most students take at least some IB classes. New facilities, nice athletic facilities, drama program, science labs, engaged community.
