At Kalkaska High School, I have always felt supported by the faculty. This is the greatest strength of the school.

Kalkaska High School is a school with a lot of personality. I have always loved the small size. Each grade has about a hundred students. This allows students to know a lot of people. The teachers are kind and engaged. It's fairly normal to have a teacher multiple times and get to know them. Kalkaska is a very small town, everyone knows everyone. The community is really good, but there are still a lot of struggles in the student body, as comes with any school.

My experience at Kalkaska High School was overall pretty okay. I really liked chemistry class and world history class because of my teachers and the information I have retained from them. I would like to see a change in how bullying and discrimination is dealt with because there are so many students that still struggle with both topics.
