The best part of Kapa'a High School is the Early College Classes it offers. The worst part about Kapaa High School is the fact that they don't challenge their students. I would like to see Kapaa High School prepare their students for college better.

Overall my 4 years at Kapa'a High have been good. I admire that they offer college-ready courses, however I wish they were advertised more. I have a modified schedule so I don't stay on campus for long which gives me more motivation to go each day. This also prepares me for my college schedule. In the future I hope to see more students applying and committing to colleges.

The best experiences I've had is to be able to interact with others In fields I am interested in and the clubs we have and the strong community in school. Things I would like to see change would probably be more individual help for teens who are struggling in school and more parent involvement .

The school faired much better under Gilmore Youn's leadership. Because of the new addition to admin, some great teachers left the school, which was very unfortunate. :(

I believe this school as come a long way under the leadership of Mr. Daniel Hamada. He has changed the dynamics of the school for good. Student drop out rate has reached a all time low. Great job.
