James E. Taylor HS has great classes and activities, but it can feel crowded and stressful. Some teachers are awesome, others not so much. Overall, it's a good school with room to improve.

As a former student I attended Taylor high school for 3 years. The administration is very helpful and have many resources to help students. Katy ISD is a great district, and I learned a lot with the teachers who are passionate they help the students well. I can say the worst part is diversity among students I would love to see that change. I know that comes with the neighborhoods around the district, but I can say the students are friendly. One thing I would love to see also is more diversity in clubs & sports groups. Overall, I did enjoy my time at Taylor.

Taylor High has been a great balance of Academics and diversity for my son who is biracial (Latino/caucasion) There is not the pressure of some other nearby high schools, but still academically challenging.
