I started at Keene High School right as a new principle started and it was definitely an... experience, there was a lot of drama and fights some between teachers and students in the beginning, but after my junior year a lot started to change, the administrators locked down on students not following the guidelines, skipping class, not participating, became more of a system rather than a high school, I stayed out of trouble but it was a mess at that school.

My experience at Keene High School was challenging. While I'm proud of what I accomplished, I often felt the school prioritized sports at the expense of other programs. The arts, in particular, were underfunded and overlooked, making it difficult for students like me to feel fully supported. Still, these challenges taught me to speak up, stay resilient, and shaped the values I'll carry with me into the future.

My overall experience at Keene High School was flooded with anxiety and not bowing what I am supposed to do with my life. I didn't really have anybody advising and looking after me in the right way. The only thing i truly enjoyed was to play my sports, but then again they always get clicky. High school wasn't the best experience for me, but there isn't always going to be just one factor to blame. It was fun and all but also depressing and misleading.

The teachers are dedicated and know their subjects. Parents turn out for theatre and music. Yet the staff are undermined by policies (homework does not count toward grade), "study" hall is noisy cafeteria, and a teacher who was punched 2022 needed surgery.
