GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Something I like about KJSHS is how small it is. If you have a problem you know somebody you can go to. Its such a small school everyone knows everyone. It adds a comfy feeling. Soemthing I would change is to try and add something a little special during the long school days. Im not just saying that we need to have free time, and just have no homwwork. But maybe we could just add a little time to talk, and go over some problems we have. Maybe just a break to de-clutter our minds. Other than that we will always have our little problems, but so far its been pretty good.

I liked how involved the administration wants the students to be with the community. Out administration is very strict and does not prepare us for college very well.

As a small high school, KHS offers few opportunities for college readiness. The culture of the school struggles and problems with drugs and teen pregnancy are high.

I would rate a 9/10. There were plenty of opportunities to be involved and many of my teachers knew exactly how to teach each individual student.
