Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Being an early college student of Duplin Early College High School was fun and interesting as the experience led me to become who I am now. I have grown wiser, more patient, and more influential to those with whom I have connected.

The early college has a very diverse community of intelligent students. We are all challenged academically by taking honor classes.

I liked my experience with this school. However, covid really shorten my experience at the school. I overall like the teachers, the vibe, and the diversity. I like the way the students are allowed to be very involved with activities, any commentary, and clubs. The school is not perfect, as we do have to limit the most as our budget is not the best.

Duplin Early College is the best of the best. The teachers are great and they certainly care about the student's well-being. The school is a great opportunity.
